Rollercoaster......what a week.

What a week or so! My family has been occupied with health issues on both sides....my husband's and mine. My MIL went in for some back surgery and things went terribly wrong. Namely, a massive heart attack. Friday or Saturday, it didn't look good. But WOW the power of prayer! Eventhough it was very risky....dangerous....they were able to do stints to address the blockages. Can you say..."miracle"? She's recovering nicely and we are truly grateful. For those few days when things were in turmoil, I kept in constant contact via text messages with friends from Clarksdale, to Jackson, to Hernando....asking them to pray when issues arose. Thanks so much prayer warriors!
MY mom is doing fine. Totally, totally blown away with the fact that she can now see and see well out of her right eye as a result of cataract surgery. People, I am convinced that she was just about legally blind in that eye. And the left eye is bad, too. You can look at her with the naked eye and see such a difference in the two eyes. Her right eye is clear and bright and her left eye is cloudy....like she's blind in that eye. And she is...just about. She's ready to schedule the left eye surgery ASAP. Thanks to all my buddies for praying for a smooth surgery. They all know how my mom worries and looks at things as if the "glass is half empty instead of half full."
Let's face it. T and I have entered into that stage of life where we are the caregivers...taking care and tending to the ones that took care of us as children. Nuf said.

But you know what.....God is good......All the time....No matter what! Amen. Amen.
